I went with Christie-Anne to Willamette university to shoot her senior pictures this week. So she started off not quite knowing what to expect. By the end she was a pro! We had fun and shot untill is pretty much dark outside.

Jake and Emily 8.16.08

What a cool wedding! They got married at Jake's parents house and it is such a cool place, they could easily rent this place out for weddings and could make a killing! This wedding had such a cool feeling to it. This really felt like a great, close group of people and the set up was just sweet. From the lighting to the food and the music it was very classy! It was very refreshing to have good chill music during the first part of the reception, I mean some good old school classy stuff. You didn't find yourself having to yell to speak to others. UNTIL later on in the evening, it was time for people to dance and it got loud and fun.It's funny because they had a late evening wedding and we kept saying "I don't know how they are going to get people to wait to see everything". It was very late and everyone was still there! I think we left at about 12:30 in the morning and there were people behind us.

Anyway it was a fantastic wedding and I am so happy that Jake and Emily chose me to shoot it! Thank you very much you guys and I wish you all the happiness in the world. You are really great people.

Portrait books

I just made up my first portrait book from my new album company. I really like these. This one is a 5x7 handmade cool soft leather book! The leather feels so soft and you get to choose from about 30 different leathers too! These are included in my portrait sessions and they include 10 images in them. I just wanted everyone to be able to see what they look like. I Love them!

Kelsey take two!

Kelsey's second shoot was great! She had already shot with me so she knew what to do. This one was real easy and fairly quick. We tried not to be out long though because it was about 95 outside!

So this is one set of shots for Kelsey, we are going to do another set this week so we can go to another location with different clothes and hair. I really love when seniors bring their friends and can have some fun with the shoot! I know it's awkward enough to have a camera pointed in your face so when friends can sit and make you laugh and take some tension off it's great. She really did great and I am looking forward to the next one!

David + Renee

Engagement shoot time for David and Renee! We got to our spot where there should be a very cool water fountain and there was a sign that said " sorry no water for a week or two". Well that was a bad start. So we decided to start there anyway and it just got fun from there! They were really great to work with, just so open to have fun and relax. Everyone gets warmed up about half way through the shoot but they actually were great from the start! David just pretty much said "tell me what to do and I'll do it" and Renee just went into sassy model mode!

I just had a super fun time with these guys and honestly I could have shot for another hour but the light started to go. I think the wedding should be fun and I'm really looking forward to it. If you know Renee you know she has a very big and open personality! I'm guessing there will be a tear or two from her during the wedding.

Paparazzi style!

That's right we do it Paparazzi style! This is Tony, he shoots all the weddings with me. All of the images you see are his also. Tony is a great photographer and I couldn't get all shots without him! One of these days he will get around to setting up his blog.

Well Grant and Mindy are two super nice people! Grant called me about a year ago and wanted to do a couple's shoot. Now at this time they were not getting married. We had a great time doing the shoot and not long after they contacted me and said "guess what?" It's wedding time. They had a beautiful wedding at the lakeside gardens and it was really a great day Thanks guys for letting me be a part of your day. I am building a slideshow soon of more shot's so check back soon!.
